Despite being a cross of two energetic breeds, Nyx is docile, quiet (rarely barks) and sweet. She loves people; she loves being loved. I teach at community college and she attends every class; she is never disruptive (sits down immediately, lies down soon after) and students line up to pet her at the break. So, in that sense, she’s already been a therapy dog for a full school semester — just, without the Sunshine bandana.
